Welcome to Our Class
We Are Reaching for the stars!
Welcome to Room 33's website. This is our fourth year as a 21st Century Classroom. We are integrating technology into our everyday lessons as well as teaching the students the basics of typing and publishing projects on the computer. This year our school is once again a Project Lead the Way school. We are one of the first elementary schools in the state to use PLTW modules to teach children STEM concepts. Last year we had much success in using technology as a way in which to enrich our curriculum. Our students made some really amazing projects. Mrs. Ross and I were thrilled with how quickly the students were able to use these tools on their own. This website is a work in progress. It and the student projects WILL contain errors. We are all learners and are learning through the year together. Our hope is by the end of the year we will all be able to see how much we grew in learning and using technology.
Important Reminders...
Please send High Frequency Folders with your child on Fridays. If your child does not bring his/her folder back, we cannot test them and they will receive an "N" on their homework for that week.

Computer Lab- We will attend the computer twice a week, on Monday afternoon and Friday mornings. Please make sure to send in your child's headphones if you haven't done so already. Thanks to those who have!
Library- we will go to the library on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:00 am
Homework News...
Parents please make sure you pull out ONLY the math pages assigned for homework that week. Have your child complete them and turn them in on Friday. Please put the math homework book in a safe place. I have no extra books if your child loses theirs. Book responses need to be attached to the homework or homework is incomplete. If incorrect pages are attached or missing I do count that as incomplete.
Don't forget to...READ, READ, READ! Students should make time every single day to read. Make reading time the same everyday so they get in a routine.
