We can't believe that September is over already! We are on our way to starting our first MIT keynote project. Our class has just begun our plant unit. Students will be soon be choosing whether they will plan a keynote on the parts of a plant or one on the lifecycle of a pumpkin. This week our hands on learning will involve planting grass and looking at the parts of Lima bean seeds. Plants are fun!
We are in full swing of learning routines in our classroom. The students were so excited to get to the computer lab, and like riding a bike, they jumped right back into things! During centers we are learning how to take care of and manage our iPod/iPad station. Mrs. Ross and I are having fun getting to know our new students!
